Pit, Scarves, School, Jay Chou

Pit orchestra rehearsal for my high school's production of Jekyll and Hyde started yesterday. I'm playing violin, along with my friend Olivia and a sophomore named Tommy. So far, it's actually been rather amusing. The lyrics to Jekyll and Hyde are so fake and cheesy that I'm surprised Cheez-Whiz hasn't sued. The song "This Is The Moment" definitely sounds like something from a Muppet movie. And Olivia's interpretation of the prostitute's song "Bring On The Men" is much too funny for Tommy and I to keep straight faces while we play.

I'm pretty sure one of the actor people singing at pit rehearsal was wearing the same scarf as me. It seems like everywhere, guys are wearing girl scarves. My friend Allyson was quite irritated today when a junior boy was wearing her exact same scarf as they both studied in the tutoring center. Boys are wierd.

Today in school, I:
- Sucked at kickball
- Was assigned to be the spiritual leader of Hamas in an upcoming debate
- Ate a bagel in the orchestra room, which is very against the rules. I'm so BA.
- Was reminded of how horrible midi files are
- Rocked some allusions in English class
- Signed Aladdin's life away to a National Honor Society project while he finished a math test
- Did statistics stuff in stats

After that, I had pit rehearsal again, and then it was off to a date with Merlin. We went to Subway (which was good, because I was starving, and then saw The Green Hornet. It was really strange to see Jay Chou speaking English, since I've seen him so much in Chinese movies and music.

Now I'm home, and I'm tired, and I'm off to listen to the CD Aladdin made for me while I fall asleep.
