To those who look back at college with rose-colored glasses and encourage me to "make the most of the best time of my life," I would like to remind you of the following parts of college that I bet my starting salary you haven't missed once since graduating.

1. Buying super expensive textbooks every semester that you'll probably never use again.
2. Not having a car and needing to get groceries but not having time to walk there and back.
3. Roommates making out on the couch. Loudly. All the time.
4. Roommates screaming at all hours. Like the ones you're trying to sleep through.
5. Having a net annual loss each year rather than a gain.

I don't even have time to write more. Sometimes college sucks.

A Thought On Sexism In Our Society

This is a subject I could talk about lots more (and perhaps eventually will), but for tonight, I'll just post this screencap of a text post I read on tumblr.
